Hey all.

As this contest begins to shape up so does the website. I’ve added a few things and their might be some stuff you are wondering about so i’ll do my best to let everyone in.

Avatars – you may have noticed that some people’s comments and profile pages show up with an image associated. This theme uses gravatar a universal avatar site to link your email with an image. Simply go to the gravatar website and sign up for a free account to have a custom image show up.

Mobile- I have added a few plugins for viewing, searching for and writing on the site using mobile phones. Simply point your phone to blogidol.ca to check out the mobile version of the site. Did I mention wordpress and plugins are amazing.

Video- You may notice some new icons in the post editor related to video / media, Simply click on the icon and follow the instructions to add relevant rich media to your posts.

Features Posts on home page- Notice the carousel at the top of the home page. This area will feature each weeks theme’s most recent posts. For week 1 the theme is Mobile Revolution.
