A note about images

In a previous post, I wrote “it couldn’t be easier” to add images to posts. Then Kevin Pashuk came along and proved me wrong. You’ll note in Kevin’s post the photo is bumped down below the sidebar, leaving a huge swath of white space.

Designer Eric Schmidt (no, not that Eric Schmidt) tells me that until he adds an auto-sizing element, the safe width for images is 450 pixels.

Hey, that’s what beta’s for.

    It also seems like stuff is on top of the topics list.  In the picture above I see “blog topics” visible but there are other things underneath.
    Also, for me the vote buttons are too low and very hard to recognize that its a thumb.

    But it does look nice, and I like the profile ability to link easily to other systems
