I was at a recent event in sunny Orlando, FL. and the Canadian analyst group Info Tech shared their top 5 hot trends/technologies.
Do you agree with these top 5, if not what’s yours and why?

While these are not in order, they are the top 5 that were mentioned. I agree that the list represents popular hot topics, while I personally don’t have Big Data on my hot topic list yet. Although studies suggest that storage alone will grow 20-50X in the next decade so perhaps I am too early to not have it on my list.

Information Technology executive that see's technology as a tool, not an end game. Able to take broad view on technology and it's impact to business. Not afraid to push the envelope when it makes sense, does not seek to be bleeding edge for the sake of technology.
