The contest is a wrap, but don’t let that stop you

That was a whirlwind six weeks of Blogging Idol. Lots of great insight, lots of entertainment and lots of great discussion. But Blogging Idol, the contest, is just the prologue.

While we’re taking out our score sheets and naming winners, you should still be joining the Blogosphere community, or, if you’re already a member, still blogging. Because you never know when we’re going to call a flash competition.

Throughout the year, we’ll be launching week-long blog-offs. We’re still working out prizing details, but there’ll be at least one week-long competition every two months. Thing is, we won’t tell you when, so stay sharp.

Thanks to everybody who participated, and watch this space for details of a post-Idol get-together.

    It was fun!

Hard to believe that 6 weeks went by so fast……..and we certainly covered a range of topics!  Thanks for organizing it and for the weekly pep talks!

Sounds like good incentive to keep a close watch on the blogosphere.  It would still be interesting to have topics to focus on, so perhaps we need to find a major story each week and use it as an incentive.

Well, I wasn’t “playing to win”, just to stretch my wings a bit, but certainly had fun with the topics.

    Thanks for doing this.
