Any chance of adding support for mobile devices to the WordPress Blog. It would allow for mobile/live blogging.

By tommorow we should have a plugin installed that will allow that. Right now the site is accesable on mobile but the admin area is not. Thanks for your input.

Sorry, it won’t let me in on my Blackberry as the mobile control panel requires Administrator Access.

Same issue when using the official WordPress app on the Blackberry. I get a “Blog Message (code 405) XML-RPC services are disabled on this blog. An admin user can enable them at http://blogidol.ca/wp-admin/options-writing.php“

I see, I’m obviously admin so it worked for me, i’ll look into xml rpc as I may be able to tie it in to your account while not giving you admin privileges.
I have turned it on so you can try the blackberry app version and let me know if it works…:)
I’m using a Samsung vice which isn’t even close to a smartphone so testing is difficult for me.

Good news / bad news.
I still can’t log in via the Blackberry browser (I’m clicking on admin at the bottom of the page). The site displays fine, and is definitely a great way to view posts after they go up. Well done.
That said, the Blackberry Wordpress App is working great, so from my side you have a success. Hopefully the other participants will get a chance to test the interface.
I’ll do some more testing on my HTC and IPhone tonight.
