IT World Canada’s Blogosphere is designed to encourage technology professionals to share their experiences in using IT to enhance business value.
Contestants will register at http://blogidol.ca with their name and e-mail address. Contestants will be contacted by IT World Canada either via e-mail, phone or both with information on setting up a profile on the blog network, including a private user name and password. Contestants will be offered coaching on blogging techniques via e-mail and video tutorial.
- Visit our registration page to sign up. You can begin blogging on 30th April, 2012. The contest closes on June 11th, 2012, but keep blogging after that — we’ll be offering prize for mini “rush” campaigns later in the year.
- While we’ll supply topics to blog about for the duration of the contest, you’re free to blog on any IT-related topic. Keep your posts to a maximum of 1,000 words. Never used WordPress for blogging? Watch the tutorial here.
- Our judges will rate your performance over the contest period on its editorial quality, branding, relevance, community building, consistency and traffic. We’ll name an overall winner, and winners in the community building and editorial quality categories. You can find more details on the judging criteria here.
